1. About us

This website is operated by Gentle Co ("we", "us", "our"), a South African business. You can reach us at any time through our contact form or at support@gentleco.co.za. By using this website or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service together with our Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy.

2. Your rights

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, or the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013.

3. Products and information

We take care to describe our products accurately. Product images are for illustration and colours may vary slightly on different screens. Our air purifiers are household appliances that capture airborne particles. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Individual results vary. Always follow your doctor's advice and continue using any prescribed medication. Our hair dryers are household styling appliances; results depend on your hair type, the products you use and the weather.

4. Orders and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. You will receive an order confirmation email after checkout. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred, in which case we will refund you in full.

5. Prices and payment

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). Delivery is a flat R90 per order unless a free-shipping offer applies, and is shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed securely by Yoco, a registered South African payment provider. Gentle Co never sees or stores your full card details.

6. Delivery and returns

Orders are delivered by Aramex, as set out in our Shipping Policy. Cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Safe use

Please read the user manual before using your product. Use it only as directed, with the supplied power cable, and keep it away from water. Place your air purifier on a stable surface. Never use a hair dryer in or near a bath, shower or basin, and unplug it after use.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or our products. This does not exclude any liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images and logos, belongs to Gentle Co or its licensors and may not be copied without permission.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this website at the time of your order applies to that order.
